Are you a passionate and results-driven fundraiser with a talent for organising impactful events? Do you want to use your skills to support a thriving, multicultural community? If so, MCR wants you on our team! We are looking for a Fundraiser and Events Officer to help us secure vital funding, build relationships with donors, and deliver engaging events that bring diverse communities together. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by ensuring we have the resources needed to support and expand our work.  The position is open to all applicants. We strongly encourage individuals from ethnic minority communities represented in the borough, who are passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion to apply.

The day began with a warm welcome, followed by attendees exploring various holistic well-being stations. Highlights included creative painting by Creation Station Twickenham, a sensory quiz, live music featuring the rhythmic beats of the tabla, beautifully played by Mitel, and vibrant Colombian dancing and drumming by the Bullerengue Circle CIC, which had everyone moving, singing, and dancing. The event also encouraged creative conversation supported by our ESOL tutor Barbara Lee and volunteers Nick Norton, Simon Shelly and our Co-Chair Geoff Pope.
