For health and wellbeing we offer the following support groups and activities:

Multicultural Social Club

Meet bi-weekly on Mondays and Thursdays 10:00 am – 1:30 pm at
Whitton Social Centre 111a Kneller Road TW2 7DT

The Multicultural Social Club was created to offer support, education and activities to older people living in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Member of this group come from a variety of backgrounds such as Africa Europe, India, Pakistan, China, Malaysia. Mauritius, Iran and Singapore. People in this group are of retired age so usually from 55 or 60 plus years of age.

Being part of this group means you have access to lots of exciting trips, events and courses such as:

Outings to : Kew Gardens, Hampton Court, coastal beaches and visiting attractions of local historical interest.

Health advice covering areas such cancer, Alzheimer’s, diabetes and general well being.

Cultural events like Eid, Diwali and Christmas

Everybody living in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is welcome to join this group.

Heathfield Social Club

Meet Weekly on Wednesdays from 10.30am – 12.30pm at the Hounslow Heath Estate Community Centre at 190 Edgar Road, London, TW4 5QP United Kingdom

MCR aims to increase social integration and reduce isolation in Heathfield. We want to help people develop life skills, personal confidence and become empowered. The group now meets every Wednesday for exercise and social chit chat.  Everybody is welcome!

Ham Social Club

Meet Weekly on Fridays from 11.00 – 1.30pm at the Ham Youth Centre Ham Hall, Ham Cl, Richmond TW10 7PL

We aim to increase social integration and reduce isolation in Ham . We want to help people develop life skills, personal confidence and become empowered. The group now meets every Friday for exercise and social chit chat.  Everybody is welcome!

Ham Multicultural Womans’ Support Group

Meet weekly on Tuesdays from 10.00am to 11.30am at Ham Youth Centre
Ham Hall Ham Close, off Ashburnham Road, Ham Richmond TW10 7PL

Aim – To address health inequalities in minority communities especially isolated women, promote health and disease prevention, encourage uptake of Health and social care related services and promote participation in the wider community.

This group offers support and friendship to mothers living in deprived conditions in Ham. It meets weekly on a Tuesdays from 10.00am to 11.30am at Ham Youth Centre to do exercise.

The membership has 24 families and MCR’s role is to provide continued support which it has done over many years and will continue to do so in the future.

MCR aims to improve the health and wellbeing of isolated people from minority communities by offering opportunities to take part activities across Richmond Borough.

Healthy Cooking

Our healthy cooking courses are fun and run by a qualified chef. These sessions allow you to learn dishes from around the world that are tasty as well as healthy. You will also benefit from learning general cooking skills.

Yoga and Zumba

We have professional fitness instructors who understand the needs of participants and tailor their classes for the benefit of the user.

Art Classes

Professional experts deliver classes to bring the creative side of individuals even for those who think they don’t have any!
