The recent devastating attack on three young girls in Southport has shocked the nation. We offer our deepest condolences to the victims and their families. Since then, across the country, a small minority of people have exploited this event to terrorise communities, with violent attacks, racism and Islamophobia.
We at Multicultural Richmond firmly reject all forms of violence and stand in solidarity with all those affected, particularly with the Muslim and refugee communities, people of colour and other ethnic minorities. It is our collective duty to foster safety and inclusivity across all areas of society and we stand for inclusion across all communities.
